Cosplay Chamber

 Hi everyone! First cosplay-making-of-post for current year, yay! Next con I'm going to attend is most likely Kummacon in May, but since Desucon would be held in very next month, I better start working on cosplays now while I still can! First project I'm tackling is Vex'halia from The Legend of Vox Machina! :3 I'm a huge fan of Critical Role and just love the show so much! Let's get started! The half-elf ranger in question  I figured I'd start from the tunic. I used my basic pattern that I modified a little bit by adding like 5 cm to the neckline and of course the long pieces to the front and back.  Side note, I actually wanted to start from the shoes so I could get that done and over with, but I don't have enough fabrics right now, so I guess I'll suffer later lol.  Hi everyone! The year is almost at end and new cosplans are flowing. From my last years cosplans , basically none happened (Still working on them..ouch). Although I still managed to get 6 costumes done this year! I don't have that many proper pics taken sadly (and WIP posts are still in my drafts), but I could try to get some taken of Saber and Makima, since they're the easiest to throw on. I just need a black trench coat for Makima... I think I already posted on my insta what my next years plans are and they are still pretty accurate, except for one changing.  Hi everyone! I originally didn't plan to write any con summaries. Mainly because I'm too busy to do so, but now after Holidays I don't have much planned soooo.. here we are! So Tracon 2022 was held 2.-4.9 once again in Tampere. This year they announced some changes in the rules (restricting cosplays with realistic military outfits and props over 30 cm). I wasn't planning any military cosplays anyway, but I do admit that the new rules were very confusing and there definitely were questions left unanswered. The first day of the con we started traveling early in the morning. Arrived somewhere around noon to Tampere and changed to cosplays. I cosplayed School Traumerei version of Atago from Azur Lane.  Woop woop! So me and my bf were lucky enough to get tickets to Tracon 2022. Tickets sold out pretty quickly, but I'm not surprised really. It's been a few years since Tracon was last held and people definitely missed it, me being one of them. And since the con is held literally next week, I wanted to announce my cosplans here too! You know.. the old fashioned way. :D Here are my plans! Friday Atago (School Traumerei) - Azur Lane No one is surprised!  Hi everyone! Remember when I cosplayed Atago from Kantai Collection? Well that costume doesn't exist anymore, but I'm not completely throwing her out of the window! I've been eyeing Azur Lane's Atago for a while and really wanted to make it happen, so I did! I debuted her the first time in Desucon (not gonna make a post about it, sorry) and actually had a lot of fun! Now I just want to show off the cosplay! Here's she :3 This is what I looked like in Desu :3 The wig styling was definitely rushed, I forgot my gloves and I wore wrong shoes, so I ended up fixing this cosplay after the con. Cut some layers to the wig and curled it a little, replaced the bow with a smaller one, fixed the jacket a little and got white high-heels (I always thought her shoes were black ;_;)! After all that I of course wanted to take some proper photos in Port of Kemi, but I've of course been too  busy with work so once again and the only day off I had it rained cats and dogs.  Hi everyone! If you know me, you know I've been in Fate-hole for quite some time! I've always liked Saber's design in Stay/Night, the armor is just iconic! Regardless, that's not what we're making today. I need a simple/comfortable costume to bring with me to this years cons, so I looked at different versions of Saber (there's so many!) and ended up with this.... Here she is! I already have the shirt, stockings, shoes and a wig. All I had to sew was the skirt and the bows. Easy!  With the skirt I kinda winged it. I made a rough pattern, but ended up having to add side panels, since the result resembled more a pencil skirt. Easy fix though!  Testing testing... lil bow to the back :3 If you see dust/cat hair, no you don't. The wig is actually a Jean (Genshin Impact) -character wig from MyCostumes . I have thought about cosplaying Jean before and before I styled the wig I tested it on (I had to trim the bangs a little) and did a quick makeup test. I had a lot ...
