Cosplay Chamber

 Hi everyone! Nekocon was held 19.-20.7 in Kuopion Musiikkitalo as usual. Cosplay plans gave me a headache and I kinda sorta gave up on that. The heatwave was unbearable and working on any of my projects was out of the question, I just didn't have the energy to do anything. Needless to say the heatwave followed to the con as well.  Our trip to Kuopio started on Friday when me and Don got off work. Don's step father was nice enough to lend us a car with full tank and all (and a working AC). Nekocon ticket I bought us the anime concert/convention ticket combo. The Anime concert was performed by Kuopion Kaupungin Orkesteri with the legendary Atso Salmila as conductor. The first anime symphony concert in Finland was in 2012 Animecon, Kuopio, or this is what this yle article said.  Hi everyone! Nekocon was held 13.-14.7 in Kuopio's Musiikkitalo once again. My journey there started on Friday. My traveling companion and boyfriend Don had work that day, so we planned to leave once he got back home. Departure ended up taking an hour or two longer though. Driving there went ok, though google maps gave us a weird route to a different place. I don't know if it was a typo on our part or maps just being weird, but after a while we found our airbnb. Firith and Shiro Samurai were super nice and fetched our tickets for us, so we didn't have to wait in line during the con day. It's her time to shine again! last time I wore her to Desucon 2023, so a little over a year ago. I have improved this costume a lot since then and I can't wait to show you the result!
