Cosplay Chamber

 Hi everyone! Finland's first ever Comic Con was held 10.-12.5 in Tampere Messu- ja urheilukeskus and I have a lot to say about it! If there is something I missed or didn't notice, please do share! This was definitely an experience... My companion to the convention was once again Dongrieg. Our trip started on Friday morning, we took a train to Tampere and got an earlier check in to Scandic hotel near train station. This was very cool, we made it con a little earlier than we thought. We had to take the bus to the convention venue and I was nervous about that. I've never used public transport in Southern parts, where such things are way fancier than we have in North. It sounded way more complicated than it actually was, so we got there and back just fine (it was also very cheap)!  Hi everyone! Comic con! In Finland! THIS WEEKEND! :D My life has been super hectic lately, so getting away from it all for a while would definitely do some good. Here are my cosplay plans for the weekend 10.-12.5! Friday Saber - Fate Stay/Night Comfy costume for the first day! I debuted Saber first time in Nordsken 2022 (back when it was in Kraft Arena). No one knew who I was, so maybe I'll be recognized this time XD I really wanted to make the iconic Excalibur sword Saber wields, but there was not enough time to make it with us moving and working. It's a little sad, with costume being so simple and all. Maybe next time! :')  Saturday Venat - Final Fantasy XIV Mommy's here! I'm stoked to wear this in a con finally! :3 I'm super proud of how this turned out. There were some parts that were more or less a headache, but I think I managed just fine.  Hi everyone! If you know me, you know I've been in Fate-hole for quite some time! I've always liked Saber's design in Stay/Night, the armor is just iconic! Regardless, that's not what we're making today. I need a simple/comfortable costume to bring with me to this years cons, so I looked at different versions of Saber (there's so many!) and ended up with this.... Here she is! I already have the shirt, stockings, shoes and a wig. All I had to sew was the skirt and the bows. Easy!  With the skirt I kinda winged it. I made a rough pattern, but ended up having to add side panels, since the result resembled more a pencil skirt. Easy fix though!  Testing testing... lil bow to the back :3 If you see dust/cat hair, no you don't. The wig is actually a Jean (Genshin Impact) -character wig from MyCostumes . I have thought about cosplaying Jean before and before I styled the wig I tested it on (I had to trim the bangs a little) and did a quick makeup test. I had a lot ...
