Cosplay Chamber

 Yo! Matsucon was held last weekend (28.-29.10) in Pohjankartano, Oulu. I haven't fully recovered from that, but I'd like to tell you about my experience while I still remember stuff. :3 Out trip to Oulu started on Friday evening after work. The plan was that I would pick Dongrieg up from his parent's house and we would start driving. This almost went accordingly, except I had to work overtime, so we left a little later than we initially thought. This was fine though, we still had enough time to grab something to eat and chill at the hotel room for a little before bed. Saturday comes! We woke up around nine. Dongrieg wanted to check out Pelimies and Fantasiapelit before heading to con, so our morning was spent there. We got Junji Ito books, dice sets and Remnant II. :3 I was super nervous the whole day since I would compete for the first time in 10 years and for the very first time ever, I was competing solo!  Boo! It's almost Halloween and Matsucon is held just before that. The con is held in 28.-29.10, Oulu, so not too far from home either. It has been a few years since I attended Matsucon last time, so I'm pretty excited to go. :) Things have been quite shitty with personal life, so I hope this weekend could bring some joy to these dark times. Anyway, here are my cosplans 🠊 Saturday Fire Keeper - Dark Souls 3 For the halloween theme I wanted to go with something dark/spoopy and I've had Fire Keeper's cosplay pieces and wig lying around for many years now, so it was time to finish that costume and take her outside. I will also take part in the cosplay parade with this cosplay, so I'm quite excited and nervous about that. The parade is basically like your regular cosplay competition, except there's more winners.  Hi everyone! I originally didn't plan to write any con summaries. Mainly because I'm too busy to do so, but now after Holidays I don't have much planned soooo.. here we are! So Tracon 2022 was held 2.-4.9 once again in Tampere. This year they announced some changes in the rules (restricting cosplays with realistic military outfits and props over 30 cm). I wasn't planning any military cosplays anyway, but I do admit that the new rules were very confusing and there definitely were questions left unanswered. The first day of the con we started traveling early in the morning. Arrived somewhere around noon to Tampere and changed to cosplays. I cosplayed School Traumerei version of Atago from Azur Lane.  Hi everyone! So I got into Chainsaw Man. So into it I decided to cosplay from it. I happened to have the costume parts in my closet, so all I had to do was cut the wig for it. I have a bunch of red wigs and no use for them. This particular one I originally got for Katarina from League of Legends, but that never happened and will never happen. Good thing I found this other read-head called Makima. :) Here she is! It has been a little quiet here, so I decided to take photos. My bf was too busy with Elden Ring to take photos with me, so I had to do it all myself, lol. At least I got some pics. Two of them being selfies though~. Cosplay, photography and editing is all by yours truly. The costume was comfy of course, though I might make or buy another shirt, something a little more fitting. The one I was wearing is a little too "baggy" for my liking. Regardless, I felt confident wearing Makima! Can't wait to bring her to cons. This is it for now, so smell ya later! :)
