Cosplay Chamber

Hello! Back to Paya! This time I started working on the jacket. It's pretty much kimono-like, but the red collar goes criss-cross applesauce in the middle. I took a look at other cosplayers to see how they have done it just give me an idea how I should approach it. Reference I hope you see what I mean about the collar.. The fabric itself provided from dad's old winter suit that he gave me for material donor since he didn't have any use for it at all. I'm very thankful for that! The winter suit is basically just large coat and pants, it was somewhat easy to pattern that. I just needed to chip off a few cm's from here and there and that was it actually. :D  The coat, in pieces, yeeted on the floor... testing.. fitting Once I was okay with the fitting I made the details, the red stripes on the sleeves, the "cape" on the back and the collar. Hello! UwU Made some more progress on Paya. Now that I have wig and accessories I started working on the under-shirt and skirt plus a makeup test, haven't done those properly in a while! There is also another lens review coming so stay tuned! ^^ These are the clothing I'm referring. For both shirt and skirt I combined materials from two of my old cosplays, since I have no use for them anymore for one reason or another.. Drum roll please....! Hiii~! I'm bringing Paya back! I tried to figure out her outfit one or two Summers ago, but threw the idea out. Though to my credit I wasn't too far off now that you can find proper concept art of her. I'm so happy to get to her again~. <3 She's so cute and sweet girl and I'm having a good time playing Breath of The Wild, so a cosplay project from that game shouldn't come as a surprise. ^^ I started from the wig, cuz that's always fun. I have this white wig with quite short cut bangs, so I started cutting and styling it. That was the easy part though, the side parts and the bun were really something. Now the sides I had to redo like once so they cooperated with me pretty well. Pretty nice, starting off quite strong. The bun part was horrible to work with. The end result was always either too messy, the placement wasn't right or the bun wouldn't hold together at all! I had to work with that sucker like 5 times and even now I'm a little paranoid...
