Cosplay Chamber

Hello everyone! While I was doing a makeup test for Linkle and a lens review I decided to use this opportunity to take some pics of the whole cosplay as it is. All I'm really missing is the compass and the crossbows and a little detail from the cape that I noticed just now <_< Oh well, this was a nice way of testing the cosplay out.  Practicing social distancing and also for the old times sake these pictures are taken in our backyard. I guess it kind of works. :D  My bf was the photographer :3 "OwO What's this?" I need to learn to do cosplay makeup again lol. I haven't done it for ages.. even everyday makeup really. Next post is going to be about the compass and crossbows. I'll try to wrap it up then and have some new pictures taken hopefully! :3 This is it for now, Sallukka rolls out!

Hi everyone! It's lens review -time again! This time taking a closer look at Neo Celeb Blue ! I have so many cosplay plans that have blue eyes so I took this opportunity to do a Linkle cosplay test. :3 I'd like to add that I don't have vial pictures, but at least you get to see how they look like in the case. Let's go! Yeah these lenses aren't the biggest ones, so enlargement effect isn't gonna be that noticeable. Though the black ring is gonna give some of that "kawaii"-effect.  One lens in Both popped on, facing window Yellow bathroom light Flash Outside in the shadow Back against sun The color isn't really in-your-face blue unless you take a closer look. Definitely in the smaller size so popping these on is easy! Not only easy to put on, but also very comfortable. Didn't really feel them on my eyes that much. Over-all gives a cute look! :3 Now to the distance photos.  Summary: Color: 7/10 Probably on darker eyes the blue isn't that notic...

Hello lovely cuccos! Uuuh yeah, Linkle is about 80% done now! I finally finished the boots, made gloves and remade the choker! This leaves me with compass and crossbows! Holy shit I can't believe I'm finally at this point. Can't wait to photoshoot this one in Summer! ^^  Let's start from the boots! Boots before I added the armor pieces and lace to the back. I was so scared to get started with these, they definitely aren't perfect, but they at least hold together! We are making progress! :D Rip Sheena's shoes With a couple of stitches they hold pretty nicely! Looks a bit rough, but as long as you don't look at them too close, all is good! :)) I glued a piece of same faux leather I used for the boot covers to the EVA foam and added a little bit of darker brown/black paint to give them a little depth. I'm happy with the over all look! ^^ Nothing special about this part. Just punched holes, added eyelets and added the lace. Though I probably will change...

Cucco! In this post I'm just updating what has been up with Linkle. I haven't talked about it anywhere except in my IG. And even there not that much really. Sooo here's what I've been working on, let's go! First off the boots. I was super scared to work on boot covers. I think I've made shoe covers once, and they didn't look good or even hold, so I guess that's where the intimidation mainly came from. Then again that was my early stage of cosplaying, my skill level has increased and it certainly was time to overcome my failures! With planning and researching different ways of making boot covers, I think I got an idea what to do. I got this stretchy faux leather for cheap thanks Kangaskukkula . Sure it was a little darker than I planned originally, but I really don't feel like ordering fabrics online. Only option is just roll with it and work on what fabric stores around me has. I don't mind sacrificing accuracy that much. ^^ I dr...

Hey guys! I haven't written here for a while again, so I'm just going to give an update about what has been going on and such. I am going to ramble a lot, just letting you know :'D So first I'll start from Retsuko. I'm sad to say I don't have many WIP pictures. Just a couple of the tail. But the vest and the skirt.. nothing. Though I do feel like it's better that way cuz I'm not really that pleased. I wish I had chosen a different kind of fabric, but that's what you do when you are on a budget, right? You just work with what you have.  The tail: After measuring and making patterns, I transfered them to the fur fabric. I hand sewed the pieces and all together. Added an elastic band on the other side so I can put a belt through it. I'm probably going to take some stuffing out and add a wire so I can bend it the way I want it to go. Cucco! Holy shit I made some progress! The hell that I went through making the vest, finished wig and some other stuff. Let's begin from the vest, once I figured out a few things, it wasn't all that bad after all. Main problem being it didn't sit quite right, so I had to adjust a few parts, now I'm quite satisfied with the result, yay! The reference for the vest. I'm still lacking the buttons and the lace, so only small things really x) I started by roughly drawing the patterns and added my measurements. After making the actual patterns, I tested them by making a mock up. You know, just be sure it'll work. The result seemed fine to me so I continued with them. At that point I didn't realize the "cape" part didn't fit quite right to the actual vest, but it wasn't too difficult to fix after all, haha. Only thing I have to show about the mock up, whoopsie. Hey guys! I've been working on Linkle yes, I'm currently working on the cape/vest and almost got it done and then found some fuckery and had to redo it again...and again.... Needless to say making this isn't as pleasant as the other parts so far... either I'm dumb or the damn cape is cursed. School also just started so I had to focus on other things, moving back to my dorm and all that jazz, so not much progress on Linkle . Once all this is sorted out, it should be easier.  Never mind me! Just trying to find some fuck to give.   But I wanted to touch on some other cosplay I would like to make while working on Linkle . I was looking through my cosplay closet, looking for some ideas I could work on. Obviously something a bit easier than Linkle . Then it came to me. Hewwo uwu Big cosplay-making hours. I'm currently at my mother in laws house, looking after her animals, so I don't have access to everything I'll need for costume making. I made the cute skirt, necklace/choker, started on bootcovers, the armor parts on them and cut the wig. Showing the skirt. Sorry for re-using the same image from last post uwu Let's begin from the skirt. It's basically like any other skirt, except I measured the folds to that front part where the eyelets and laces go. I added a zipper to the back. I'm sorry for the lack of pics, I simply forgot to take them, but here's some.  Folded and wrinkly, I apologize ^^'' I promise I will Iron the skirt.
