Nekocon 2024 cosplay lineup!

Nekocon is approaching (THIS WEEKEND ALREADY WHAAAA?!?), so it's time for me to reveal my cosplay lineup for the weekend! I already put them to my instagram story, but let's put them here too. :3

Ix Elizabetta - Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun!

It's her time to shine again! last time I wore her to Desucon 2023, so a little over a year ago. I have improved this costume a lot since then and I can't wait to show you the result! Iruma-kun has been such a comfort anime for me during tough times, so I want to give much more love to the series! ^^ Also this cosplay is very appropriate for the hot Summer day and the heat in Musiikkitalo (the con venue), the "AC" has never worked there ever XD

Hoshino Ai - Oshi no Ko

Something new! I've been working on Ai for a while here, so this most likely doesn't come as a surprise to anyone. I decided to wear this on Sunday because I figured it would be easier to wear and take off before leaving the con. I don't want to hassle too much with tails and horns and unpractical clothing on the last con day. ^^ I'm still super stoked to wear this and show off my hard work!

Nekocon 2025 Summary!

 Hi everyone! Nekocon was held 19.-20.7 in Kuopion Musiikkitalo as usual. Cosplay plans gave me a headache and I kinda sorta gave up on that. The heatwave was unbearable and working on any of my projects was out of the question, I just didn't have the energy to do anything. Needless to say the heatwave followed to the con as well.  Our trip to Kuopio started on Friday when me and Don got off work. Don's step father was nice enough to lend us a car with full tank and all (and a working AC). Nekocon ticket I bought us the anime concert/convention ticket combo. The Anime concert was performed by Kuopion Kaupungin Orkesteri with the legendary Atso Salmila as conductor. The first anime symphony concert in Finland was in 2012 Animecon, Kuopio, or this is what this yle article said. I was at this con, but I don't think I saw the concert, which I do feel a little sad about, but back then I mainly wanted to hang out with friends instead of seeing any programs really.  We woke up ...

Matsucon cosplay lineup!

 Hi everyone! Matsucon is this weekend already and I haven't written about Nekocon yet! Yes, I did go, just didn't post cosplay lineup since nothing seemed good. It's been so hot and humid it's been difficult to even think. Good thing it's over for a little while, so have my cosplay lineup for Matsucon! Saturday Aurora - Sleeping Beauty This costume might be little too hot, but I really wanna wear her again! I felt so pretty cosplaying her last time and that feeling is needed right now. ❤ Sunday Kanae Kocho - Demon Slayer: Kimetsu Academy Easy cosplay! I have fitting clothes in my closet and it was fun to craft those little butterflies! :3 There is a chance I might just be in casual clothes, but we'll see how I feel. This lineup post definitely came out late, but oh well. Don is not going to accompany me this time, but I will visit the con with my brother on Saturday, so I'm not completely alone. Can't wait to go!

Hypecon 2025 Summary!

 Hi everyone! Hypecon was held last weekend (7.-8-6) at Hyvinkää. I've never been to Hypecon before and Don is on Summer vacation, we decided to check it out, since I also had that weekend off. We left on Friday afternoon once I got off of work (I might have sneaked out a little earlier~) and my brother looked after our home and cat and drove us to and from the train station, biggest thanks to him! My cat wanted to come with I guess. :'D I cosplayed Aurora from Sleeping Beauty on Saturday, which fit very well the theme "Dreams". I didn't practice makeup at all prior, but I had a rough idea what I wanted it to look like and I think I did pretty ok! :3 Felt cute! The con was held in Hyvinkään Kaupungintalo plus some surrounding buildings. The outside area was huge and had some very pretty parks nearby.
