Cosplay Chamber

Hi everyone! Desucon was held 16.-18.6 this year once again in Sibeliustalo. I got lucky and got the tickets. They sold out super quickly again, but this happens. The capacity is somewhere around 2900-3000 and this community has only grown ever since the pandemic. I tried to think of solutions to make ticket sales easier, but didn't come up with anything. Sure, Desucon could hold one more con, but they have already stated on their website that they are not going to do that since people have lives outside of all this. Honestly understandable, but next June there'll be another con I could try attend if I can't get desu-tickets. 👀 There it is~☆ Me and my boyfriend, whom we'll call Dongrieg , took a train early in the morning and headed to Lahti on Friday, so we would arrive somewhere after noon.  Moving from one cosplay to another.. I finally started working on 2B! One of my dream cosplays actually. I already would've cosplayed her for the design alone, but the game and the character turned out to be much more important to me, than I could've ever imagined. Absolutely a masterpiece of a game! I'm super excited! Starting from the top, I re-did this pattern like three times and made as many mock ups. I was so scared I screwed the first actual real top up, but it was actually just fine and I just didn't take all the details into consideration when fitting it. I continued with it and drew the chest and the back piece/detail/pattern whatever.  Testing the base of the dress. The front-chest-applique-pieces.... ....and the back pieces pinned on thin black fabric. I hand-sewed the appliques to their places. Sleeves attached! I still need to add elastic band and black feathers to the sleeves. I'm just not sure how I'm going to go about the feathers. Do I just bu...

Hey guys! I haven't written here for a while again, so I'm just going to give an update about what has been going on and such. I am going to ramble a lot, just letting you know :'D So first I'll start from Retsuko. I'm sad to say I don't have many WIP pictures. Just a couple of the tail. But the vest and the skirt.. nothing. Though I do feel like it's better that way cuz I'm not really that pleased. I wish I had chosen a different kind of fabric, but that's what you do when you are on a budget, right? You just work with what you have.  The tail: After measuring and making patterns, I transfered them to the fur fabric. I hand sewed the pieces and all together. Added an elastic band on the other side so I can put a belt through it. I'm probably going to take some stuffing out and add a wire so I can bend it the way I want it to go.
