Tracon 2024 Cosplay Lineup!

 Hi everyone!

Tracon is going to be on this weekend, so I think this would be appropriate time for me to drop my cosplans for the con! My life has been super hectic, but I'm bringing something new to this convention.

Friday

Venat - Final Fantasy XIV

Venat again! I really love this cosplay and I have improved it a little with a new wig. The light blue was very pretty, but didn't fit the overall cosplay imo, so I bought a new one from coscraft. Can't wait to show ya!

Melina - Elden Ring

Oh yeah! I started working on her last year and finally finished! I had another plan in mind, but that ended up being too much work, so Meli-Meli to the rescue! We are planning to go see Elden Ring panel in the con, so this is actually very fitting! :D WIP post is going to come after the con.

That would be it. No cosplay for Sunday, since we have leave early. I have school on Monday morning and Don has work, so we both need to get on time home to relax. Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited to go to con after a long while. I skipped a few cons this year, so this is very much needed. See ya at Tracon! :3

 Hi everyone! This time we are working on Venat's mask and other little accessories she has on her robe. Picture found from google, probably the most clear shots I could find where the mask is seen clearly Ancient mask sold in Square Enix-shop The overall silhouette of the mask I cut from from 3mm foam sheet. I did a couple paper drafts first to get the size right.   I also drew on the pattern for some reason? Good thing I did though.. I wasn't sure what I was doing. I tried covering it and do the details with black worbla, but that didn't turn out right... I'm Buttman! And here's the botched detail work... It's very goofy and the placement is so off! RAHHH Me with this (and every) cosplay So.. I heated it up just a little bit and ripped the worbla off from the mask. It wasn't glued on or anything and came off pretty easily... Hi everyone! Today we'll be working on THE iconic fighting game queen Chun Li from Street Fighter 6! Out of all the fighting games, Tekken is definitely closer to my heart actually. I played Street Fighter a little, but sucked at it so bad! :'D I still do, but I do enjoy the characters a lot and the story. Chun Li was also the first female character in fighting game genre! :3 Iconic queen with the thiccest thighs I'm obsessed with her fr. She has matured a lot, but I'll always remember her like this ❤ We will be starting from the wig. I have this super old dark brown wig from an acquaintance of mine. The cut was a little all over the place, so I was comfortable trying something I've never tried before.. Which is making a normal wig into a twintail wig aka making a middle part in the back! You know how you really can't part a normal wig without any mesh/wefts showing? We're covering that here. Ewwwwwww I parted the wig how I wanted and pinned down wefts. The

Matsucon 2023 Summary!

 Yo! Matsucon was held last weekend (28.-29.10) in Pohjankartano, Oulu. I haven't fully recovered from that, but I'd like to tell you about my experience while I still remember stuff. :3 Out trip to Oulu started on Friday evening after work. The plan was that I would pick Dongrieg up from his parent's house and we would start driving. This almost went accordingly, except I had to work overtime, so we left a little later than we initially thought. This was fine though, we still had enough time to grab something to eat and chill at the hotel room for a little before bed. Saturday comes! We woke up around nine. Dongrieg wanted to check out Pelimies and Fantasiapelit before heading to con, so our morning was spent there. We got Junji Ito books, dice sets and Remnant II. :3 I was super nervous the whole day since I would compete for the first time in 10 years and for the very first time ever, I was competing solo!
