Skecon - My final con for this year

Skecon was held at Skellefteå in Sweden 2-4 November. It was a small event, but in a good way. It was very nice and relaxing, actually, I would like to go there again! Why not take one day off from school and go to con! :'D

On Friday me, Valkoinen Samurai and Jäätynyt Enkeli went to Skellefteå by bus. After 4 hours bus trip we finally arrived! We three followed our Saitou-san (aka Said'oh!) to the mattress accommodation-place where we changed to our cosplays and went to the con. We all (except Saitou-san) cosplayed from Pokémon HG/SS me as Erika, Valkoinen Samurai as Falkner and Jäätynyt Enkeli as Silver. The con premises was very cozy, I liked it that way. After looking around the con we found a great place to photoshoot, so now some pictures of my Erika-cosplay :'3

 When it became late we head back to mattress accommodation-place and tried to sleep...not... xD Because  Metapod-derping! >8D Ja sinä myrskyisenä yönä... Sleeping bags are awesome! XD Valkoinen Samurai's sleeping bag was similiar to Metapod. My sleeping bag is now and forever Pinkpod! Jäätynyt Enkeli's sleeping bag was emo Kakuna :'D MetapodxPinkpod<3

On Saturday after bad night's rest we changed to normal clothes and went to con, where we changed to Hakuouki cosplays! Me as Chizuru Yukimura Chizuhurr, Jäätynyt Enkeli as Keisuke Sannan Oppa Sannan Style and Valkoinen Samurai as Hijikata Toshizo Herpkata. Saitou-san joined us later. 
When we changed to our cosplays we went to realx for a while to the bagchairs~

After realxing and derping around me, Valkoinen Samurai and Saitou-san went to see Kendo and Kyodo. It was very interesting actually :'3 I enjoyed it. Me and Saitou-san left to Sannan-san, Hijikata stayed there for a while. When he came back we went to eat. We ate at Max, because it was close and cheap so.. why not? :'D

After eating, during the trip back to con, Troll!Sannan-san's shoe decided to troll -> Chizuru helps! 8D Sadly Sannan-san's sock and shoe didn't survive from this trip... Oh well~ 
Me and Valkoinen Samurai felt drawn toward the bagchairs again. During some relaxing I started to feel freezing.. Thank you Valkoinen Samurai for borrowing me your haori. We went to watch the cosplay competion, but for us that watching didn't last long, I was so freezing and my forhead started to be warm.. I really appreciate Valkoinen Samurai's and Jäätynyt Enkeli's help, thank you so much! After some resting and drinking water I felt a lot better.

After le pictures we changed to normal clothes and went to sleep. We decided to take the earlier bus because on Sunday there wasn't anything interesting at the con anymore...~ I worn my Ciel Phantomhive-wig that day, my own hair decided to be a mess~

Of course on the Saturday morning we had to take pics too!

    The con was so much fun and awesome. XD Hajoon näille kuville kyl vieläki, niin laatupaskaa että huh-huh. :'DD Mun ilme viiksikuvassa on vähän sitä luokkaa että "not sure if viiksi!Chizuru is gusta..." tai "wtf is she doing". x) Hakuouki cosseissa me ei paljon muuta tehneetkään ku derpattiin rajattomasti, huomaa että sunnuntain loppukuvissa oli aivot turned off koska kaikkee what is this I don't even gaggelia happened. XD

    SOCKS WITH SANDALS MELODIA OH MY GOD se on nyt meidän Skecon theme songi!! >8D

Nekocon 2023 Summary!

 Hi everynyan! :3 I attended Nekocon this year for the first time ever! :D It was held in a familiar place though, this being Musiikkikeskus (+Lumit) in Kuopio (15.-16.7.2023). Last time I set my foot there was Animecon way back when. This years theme in Nekocon was nostalgia, which was very fitting in so many ways. Walking around the con area was a trip down to memory lane. My journey to Kuopio started on Friday, traveling with my bf Dongrieg  once again. We woke up pretty early and started our 5-ish hour drive. She's safe and sound :3 On arrival we had a few hours to kill before we could get con tickets and set ourselves in mattress accommodation the convention provided for a small price. It was very nice and cool of them to arrange it this way. Traveling, getting tickets, settling sleeping arrangements and getting into cosplay all at the first day of con is very overwhelming experience, so being able to do some things a day earlier makes things easier. Martial Arts Master

Hi everyone! Today we'll be working on THE iconic fighting game queen Chun Li from Street Fighter 6! Out of all the fighting games, Tekken is definitely closer to my heart actually. I played Street Fighter a little, but sucked at it so bad! :'D I still do, but I do enjoy the characters a lot and the story. Chun Li was also the first female character in fighting game genre! :3 Iconic queen with the thiccest thighs I'm obsessed with her fr. She has matured a lot, but I'll always remember her like this ❤ We will be starting from the wig. I have this super old dark brown wig from an acquaintance of mine. The cut was a little all over the place, so I was comfortable trying something I've never tried before.. Which is making a normal wig into a twintail wig aka making a middle part in the back! Desucon 2023 Summary~

Hi everyone! Desucon was held 16.-18.6 this year once again in Sibeliustalo. I got lucky and got the tickets. They sold out super quickly again, but this happens. The capacity is somewhere around 2900-3000 and this community has only grown ever since the pandemic. I tried to think of solutions to make ticket sales easier, but didn't come up with anything. Sure, Desucon could hold one more con, but they have already stated on their website that they are not going to do that since people have lives outside of all this. Honestly understandable, but next June there'll be another con I could try attend if I can't get desu-tickets. 👀 There it is~☆ Me and my boyfriend, whom we'll call Dongrieg , took a train early in the morning and headed to Lahti on Friday, so we would arrive somewhere after noon.
