Kemi's manga day .. and photoshoot!

Yesterday I attend Kemin Mangapäivä-event. It was labeled as "cosplay-meet" but it just seemed to be a normal mangaday o -o. There wasn't any more cosplayers than normally, but I didn't mind. I actually expected that. Oh well, I had a lot of fun there! xD.
My company to the event was Valkoinen Samurai as Hijikata Toshizo and Jäätynyt Enkeli as Keisuke Sannan and me as Chizuru Yukimura from Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan.

I woke up early in the morning, put my cosplay on and tried to wake my dad (with success) and oh god I was tired. Me and my dad was ready to leave but then wild mom appears and said she needed car. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Soo.. we just had to wait her... I was texting to Hijikata because we have planned to have a photoshoot at his house.. well because of waiting my mom and other errors I was late no shit Sherlock. It was okay because Hijikata had to dress himself ^^''. We still had time to take few pictures.

Don't even think that all the pictures are perfect and all. xD Most of the pictures derped a lot! Searious-facing is hard when you're tired and everything. We three have derp-code-names now. xD

After the photoshoot it was time to go to the Kulttuuritalo, where the event was held. It was a keep-calm-and-hang-out-with-your-friends kind of event, like normal manga day. We watched a cosplay competion, there was a cosplay-date but we didn't watch it. I bought nothing from the event because I just didn't find anything interesting. I saw many familiar faces there. People harassed me almost all the time [insert oh-god-why-meme here]... And sorry Johgaga aka France from Hetalia that I didn't go to France with you xD I rather stayed with Hijikata and Sannan C: We also had a photoshoot during the event. We found a bush-place nearby the Kulttuuritalo. xD

Nekocon 2023 Summary!

 Hi everynyan! :3 I attended Nekocon this year for the first time ever! :D It was held in a familiar place though, this being Musiikkikeskus (+Lumit) in Kuopio (15.-16.7.2023). Last time I set my foot there was Animecon way back when. This years theme in Nekocon was nostalgia, which was very fitting in so many ways. Walking around the con area was a trip down to memory lane. My journey to Kuopio started on Friday, traveling with my bf Dongrieg  once again. We woke up pretty early and started our 5-ish hour drive. She's safe and sound :3 On arrival we had a few hours to kill before we could get con tickets and set ourselves in mattress accommodation the convention provided for a small price. It was very nice and cool of them to arrange it this way. Traveling, getting tickets, settling sleeping arrangements and getting into cosplay all at the first day of con is very overwhelming experience, so being able to do some things a day earlier makes things easier. Martial Arts Master

Hi everyone! Today we'll be working on THE iconic fighting game queen Chun Li from Street Fighter 6! Out of all the fighting games, Tekken is definitely closer to my heart actually. I played Street Fighter a little, but sucked at it so bad! :'D I still do, but I do enjoy the characters a lot and the story. Chun Li was also the first female character in fighting game genre! :3 Iconic queen with the thiccest thighs I'm obsessed with her fr. She has matured a lot, but I'll always remember her like this ❤ We will be starting from the wig. I have this super old dark brown wig from an acquaintance of mine. The cut was a little all over the place, so I was comfortable trying something I've never tried before.. Which is making a normal wig into a twintail wig aka making a middle part in the back! Desucon 2023 Summary~

Hi everyone! Desucon was held 16.-18.6 this year once again in Sibeliustalo. I got lucky and got the tickets. They sold out super quickly again, but this happens. The capacity is somewhere around 2900-3000 and this community has only grown ever since the pandemic. I tried to think of solutions to make ticket sales easier, but didn't come up with anything. Sure, Desucon could hold one more con, but they have already stated on their website that they are not going to do that since people have lives outside of all this. Honestly understandable, but next June there'll be another con I could try attend if I can't get desu-tickets. 👀 There it is~☆ Me and my boyfriend, whom we'll call Dongrieg , took a train early in the morning and headed to Lahti on Friday, so we would arrive somewhere after noon.
