Cosplay Chamber

 Hello! I finally continued with our favorite guildmarm again! This time we're making pants, shoes, blouse and cuffs! I also restyled the wig and didn't shove it in a bag again. Instead it's going to keep it on a wigstand until the costume is retired or I want to wash my wig. Also I fixed the closing hook on the jacket so it stays closed now and doesn't open whenever it feels like it lol. Starting from the pants! I didn't find any grey fabric with white stripes, so I sewed on some stripes from white fabric. I haven't sewn pants much, I can recall making a pair once maybe, so it was definitely exciting process. I used a regular pants-pattern and just modified it. Pieces cut with stripes sewn on Testing. A little snug, but they fit. The white detail on the pant leg is made out of white felt fabric and the red stitches are strips of red faux leather. White felt Cross-details Finished pants!  Moving from one cosplay to another.. I finally started working on 2B! One of my dream cosplays actually. I already would've cosplayed her for the design alone, but the game and the character turned out to be much more important to me, than I could've ever imagined. Absolutely a masterpiece of a game! I'm super excited! Starting from the top, I re-did this pattern like three times and made as many mock ups. I was so scared I screwed the first actual real top up, but it was actually just fine and I just didn't take all the details into consideration when fitting it. I continued with it and drew the chest and the back piece/detail/pattern whatever.  Testing the base of the dress. The front-chest-applique-pieces.... ....and the back pieces pinned on thin black fabric. I hand-sewed the appliques to their places. Sleeves attached!  Hi everyone! So I got into Chainsaw Man. So into it I decided to cosplay from it. I happened to have the costume parts in my closet, so all I had to do was cut the wig for it. I have a bunch of red wigs and no use for them. This particular one I originally got for Katarina from League of Legends, but that never happened and will never happen. Good thing I found this other read-head called Makima. :) Here she is! It has been a little quiet here, so I decided to take photos. My bf was too busy with Elden Ring to take photos with me, so I had to do it all myself, lol. At least I got some pics. Two of them being selfies though~. Cosplay, photography and editing is all by yours truly. The costume was comfy of course, though I might make or buy another shirt, something a little more fitting. The one I was wearing is a little too "baggy" for my liking. Regardless, I felt confident wearing Makima! Can't wait to bring her to cons. This is it for now, so smell ya later! :)

 Hello lovelies! I found it quite difficult to choose cosplays for this year. I found love in bunch of new games and series, but there are also a bunch of older plans I have already started with. Here's what I came up with. Ferra/Torr - Mortal Kombat XL (Alternate) This is a pair cosplay with my bf. He's a huge fan of Mortal Kombat and played it a lot when we were young. I was much more into Tekken, but I've gotten into MK little by little and these two are by far the most interesting characters to me. I'm excited to work on these two, but to be realistic I might not finish these this year yet. We'll see. My bf promised me help with the props at least and any other work that doesn't involve sewing machine really.  Hi everyone~ After two years we finally got an actual convention not too far from where I live! I was happy to see Kummacon coming back in Oulu, I've missed it so much and it was a great way to start con-going again since it's a small event.  Since I finished Ada's dress (and made the necklace too) I decided to take her there, though I didn't take any proper photos of her. Small dress plus winter doesn't really go together, so I'll wait until Spring or Summer to photoshoot her. Also I'm still missing the weapon and weapon harness AND I need a better wig! I felt awful wearing the wig I tried to style, the fibers are destroyed and the cut didn't really save it. Only thing it's good for is donating wefts, so not completely useless.
